For this assignment, the student is to animate a rubber like ball, bouncing on the spot.

Purpose and Principles Involved
The purpose of this assignment is to introduce the student to the use of stretch and squash as well as the effect of gravity on the animated character.

New principles introduced:
• Stretch
• Squash
• Weight
• Appropriate Timing

It will also re-enforce their training in the following principles:

• Slo-in and slo-out
• Spatial Relationships
• Accuracy in Drawing
• Reading and Following a Timing Chart
• Maintaining Volume and Proportions
• Flipping Drawings
