The alcove above is where Igor and Fritz have their first encounter in
Scenes 4 through 7.

Everything here is made of polygon primitives, except the walls which
are Nurbs planes with a cobblestone texture map and the glass tube on
the right which was an EP curve that was revolved.


The table in the lab proved to be the most time consuming part of the
set modeling because of all the detailing. I ended up having to set up 5
separate lights just for the elements on the table so that they would all
show up properly. This was an early test rendering with only one or
two lights for the set.


Here is another early test rendering showing the relationship of
the table to the alcove.The shadow cast on the back wall is from
a spotlight with a template of a barred window in front of it.
It's still too bright in this version.
