Here are some shots of the finished character painted with the two oil barrels attached. I painted the model with acrylic paints. The rope for the harness and barrel straps are made of twine tied together and then painted with white glue to stiffen them up. I originally wanted to buy a couple of miniature clay pots from a craft store but couldn't find the exact type that I was looking for so I just rolled up a couple of balls of foil and used brown coloured Sculpey. For the lids, I used the bases from some miniature clay pots, turned upside down. |
