This layout was drawn specifically for the book "Layout and Design Made Amazingly Simple".
I actually did it practically at the last minute to fill a blank page in the book. It's a low angle, two point perspective view. I chose the low angle to show more depth by seeing the underside of the bridge. It wouldn't have been nearly as dramatic if the horizon had been above the level of the bridge. Sometimes, just by altering your point of view slightly, you can create a much more interesting layout or scene composition. |
