This was originally written as The Animation Drawing Course but has now been re packaged with additional illustrations as Designing Cartoon Characters Vol. 2.
The original content is the same, this is an 8 lesson manual that takes you through the processes of designing your own cartoon characters step-by-step.
Each lesson is layered to take you through the process in a very deliberate way. I wrote this book in response to seeing far too many "How to Draw..." books that overly simplified the process into a 1-2-3 type of thing. These books infuriate me because there are so many other steps and thought processes required that these books simply ignore.
