Simplicity & Clarity
Try to find the simplest way to state the action or gesture. Dont get into a lot of movement for the sake of movement itself. Get to the heart of the matter. This doesnt mean that you should exclude any subtle nuances that might help to differentiate your character from other characters, just as great actors have personal mannerisms, so too should you give your character that extra breath of life. Just be careful that it doesnt distract from the primary action that must take place within the scene. |
