| Here is a short piece of animation of an Alien monster laughing. It's just another variation on the Mouse Laugh principle with a longer "hah" at the end moving forward.
I had quite a bit of fun animating this piece with his jerky action and the hand movements. I like animating characters that have big mouths so that you can really open them up and show some dimension to the head. The "hairs" in the top of his head also added some nice overlapping action to the movement as well. It really adds to the animation if you can add this type of stuff to the character design. |
