The design for this guy is from my Designing Cartoon Characters for Animation Vol. 2 book on pages 122 & 123.
These photos are before I cooked and painted him. I still wanted to play with the detailing on his mane before finalizing him.
It took about 12 hours total (four - 3 hour classes) to get him to this point.
