The walk of this girl is very controlled. Not a lot of up and down. The arms swing a fair amount and if I was to do it over again, I'd not have them swinging quite so far and I'd tone down the flip on her wrists.
Notice the feet of this character. If you compare it to the others, they all lead with the heel down first. For this one I purposely had her lead with her toes first. This gives it a more feminine feel and it's not quite so clunky. It's the little variations like this that will determine the "character" of your characters. Look at the rest of the walks to see how each one has it's own distinct personality. Watch and compare the different parts of the body to see how they move differently. Use the slide bar to slow it down and single frame the action so you can really analyse what's going on. |
