| The Bowling Ball Drop is a variation of the Descending energy Ball Bounce. It shows the difference in the timing of the bounces which indicates a different type of weight and surface material. The addition of the color also adds to the solidity and weight of the ball.
Color is a consideration that you should think very seriously about when designing your characters. Different colors have different psycological meanings. The variation in values can also effect the weight of the character or object. Most studios have a color department that is specifically trained to know these things and often create a large number of different variations of color schemes before deciding on the final color model. |
